My Artist’s Statement

I have always remembered loving art. As a young child I watched my grandmother paint beautiful oil paintings of roses. My love of art grew along side the number of my grandmother's painted roses. At age 8, I began drawing portraits for my mother's friends on bowling night. There was never a question that I was destined to always love art..

In 2013 I experienced a cataclysmic shift in my life brought about by the violent end of my beloved 17 year old brother's life. I thought then that there must be more than this. What I was experiencing and believing about life wasn't enough of a reason for me to exist. Art became meaningless to me and my only solace was to dive into anything and everything spiritual in my quest for “more,” in my quest for truth and lasting happiness. It seems that art wasn't finished with me completely though. I was reunited with my love of art when I realized I could combine my spiritual quest for truth AND my love of art. My Spirit Drawings are the love children of these two passions.

A Spirit Drawing is a meditative artwork focusing on communicating a person's spirit, spirit guides, and/or messages from Spirit. I do my best to stay out of the way and I ask Spirit to draw through me, whatever is for the highest good of my Spirit Drawing’s subject. Intuitive art has lit the fire in my heart and filled the future with unlimited possibilities in my mind. Every Spirit Drawing is an exciting surprise and for me a humble lesson in the divine mysteries of the universe.

I am a lover of all things spiritual. I am a student and facilitator of Byron Katie's “The Work.” I am a graduate of the Byron Katie’s School for The Work. I am a student of A Course In Miracles, as well as a Level 2 Certified Reiki Practitioner. I am a sought after artist, and have sold spirit drawings all over the world. My Spirit Drawings are infused with love and each is unique and personal. I am forever a student of love and ultimate truth.
